This post is dedicated to Vanessa and her amazing team of family and friends who helped make her dream wedding possible. Vanessa put a lot of thought into all the small details of her wedding and I want to highlight some of the amazing DIY projects we worked on for her vintage inspired, eclectic wedding. Unfortunately I don’t have photos of all the unique projects that made this day extra special. The days before and after the wedding are such a blur.
Tabitha, the other bridesmaid, created some beautiful bunting for the wedding. Tabitha is super creative and talented and I wish I had some photos of the bunting to showcase. Please make sure you visit her etsy store, Sparrow Gardens. She has some lovely headpieces and vintage clothing in her store.
The photos tagged “inspiration” are photos that Vanessa and I found, loved, and based some of her creative projects on. I will try to link to blogs and tutorials with more information when possible. Enjoy the eye candy!!!
Table Numbers: Inspiration from Arizona Ranch Wedding found on Style Me Pretty.
Photo Clothesline: Inspiration from Fabulous Weddings.
DIY Tree Pedestal Cake Stands: Inspiration and tutorial from Once Wed.
V “hearts” J Posters: I can’t find where the inspiration image came from. It doesn’t matter, our posters are better.
Table Centerpieces: Pretty garden flowers and vintage/recycled vases. So lovely and colourful!
Upcycled Chandelier and Reception Lighting: Thank you to the boys who helped figure out the logistics for the lighting! This was much more complicated that I thought it would be.
The incredibly beautiful garden where the wedding ceremony took place. Vanessa’s mom has been working on this garden for several years and it’s amazing. I think this garden is more beautiful than anything Vanessa and I found on the blogs. So lovely.
Inspiration for the hay-bale seating came from Brit + Daniel’s Handcrafted Wedding on Ruffled.
Vanessa and Jason’s wedding signs were made by the groom’s talented parents. Floral Pom-Poms tutorial from Martha Stewart.
Congratulations Vanessa and Jason. Love you guys! I wish you all the happiness and adventure in the world.
